Belfast goes 2-2 on the day, Oceanside 1-3

SKOWHEGAN — The Belfast and Oceanside wrestling teams were in action on Saturday, Jan. 17 as the squads hit the road for a five-team meet, along with Gardiner, Oxford Hills of South Paris and host Skowhegan.
The Lions went 2-2 on the day as they bested Gardiner 70-12 and upended Oceanside 65-18, but fell to Skowhegan 47-24 and to Oxford Hills 45-34.
The Mariners went 1-3 as they earned a 42-30 win over the Tigers, while falling not only to Belfast, but to Skowhegan 57-18 and to Oxford Hills 48-30.
Oceanside
The individual Oceanside results, with Mariner grapplers listed first, were:
120 pounds — Jayred Robishaw won by forfeit over Gardiner; and pinned Justin David, OxH, at 3:18.
